Kelley Boyd is a native of Savannah , Georgia and an artist at heart and soul. Her
artistic talents date back as long as she can remember. Painting and drawing pictures of the family pets at a very early
age, her first masterpieces were proudly displayed on the refrigerator at home! Art has remained a central part of her life leading
to a B.A. in Art from Armstrong Atlantic State University. Kelley was first introduced to decorative painting by assisting a decorative painter
in Hilton Head, South Carolina. With the help of a dear friend and decorator, Chad Mabry, she set out on her own and created
Kelley J. Boyd Decorative Painting in Savannah. She has worked on designer show homes, numerous residential and commercial projects nationally.
Considering herself a life-long student, Kelley frequently attends decorative painting classes and workshops. This allows her to remain
on the cutting edge of her field and offer clients the freshest and most up to date looks. She maintains the highest standards of craftsmanship
by using only professional products and tools.
Traveling and yoga are also Kelley’s passions . Both of which help her to tap into a fountain of creativity. She teaches several yoga classes a week to share her love
of yoga and help to keep her physically and mentally fit for
the demands of her work. In the past several years Kelley has
traveled back and fourth between Savannah, Texas, Sweden,
France, Spain, South Korea, Thailand, Cambodia and most
recently Costa Rica. Carefully gathering threads of
inspiration from her travels and experiences she weaves them
into her art and shares them with you through her design.
Kelley resides in Savannah, Georgia with her 4 dogs: Radar,
Lucy, Sweet Dog & Giullermo and her cat, Mr.
Cheeks.
